I did the same the swan fiend but on a bike rather than in a caddy Image

Did you see the signs in some of the houses telling people driving the NC500 to go home? Apparently there’s a load of locals that aren’t fans of the tourism - maybe someone hasn’t mentioned to them yet that the tourist almost single handedly support the economy there…

There were some pretty good views. This was our camping spot just after Applecross:

To keep things on topic - today I had the turbo fixed on the caddy Image

Oh I’ll be armed with my tin of smidge midgie repellent. I know all about those little microscopic shits the more north west you go the more fearsome the bite. I’m in central Scotland Loch Lomond is an hr from the house and Loch Lochy around 2 .The Bealach na Bàis near 4 hrs . That’s a fair amount of miles for yourself swan and some nice place you visited.

Bealach na Bà is on the cards I plan on doing rear seat conversion first so I can make it a family trip.

Next time your up Scotland visit mull and head for Loch Buie on Isle of Mull stunning views. Image

Yeah we used a bit of midge spray ourselves. Got a citronella oil burner which sorted the little buggers out too!!
Yeah 1050 miles over 6 days. I’m back home now and knackered!
Mull looks stunning…..it’s on the list!

Got a fairly big 3d printer earlier in the week and decided after doing random stuff I'd print somthing useful... Print itself turned out pretty good considering I went with no supports...
