[mention]Lister79 [/mention] anyone would be mad not to give your van any trophies as like you say it’s your daily driver and it’s still turning heads at shows.

Ahh fair play mate that’s what I like to hear, with all the hours and money that’s gone into this build I wouldn’t want to just shove it away for winter either and only use it for shows. It’s a fresh new van with shiny new parts all over so I’m sure it’ll cope just fine through the winter. Is your other caddy still in bits or has that gone now?

No a friend bought the white Caddy early this year. I built it back up with all the low mileage parts from the brown van and sold it to free up space and money so I could finish the brown one a bit easier.

Just finally catching up with your progress on this and gotta say it’s unreal.

Been at TRAX show Silverstone today on the Performance VW magazine stand; was in good company with the beetle. Only issue is my daughter now wants me to build one similar for when she passes her test, I knew I shouldn’t have sent her photos .
Great meeting a few of you today and putting faces to the vans.
