Bought a wet vacuum to clean the seats. The thing works wonders with Chemical Guys foaming citrus fabric clean.

Stripped the cab roof out so I can fit a decent DAB aerial at the weekend and fitted cruise control 8)

So after having black zito 935’s for 5 years some of which on my last van then transferred onto the this one, Iv had them refurbed and my winter tyres fitted. Not totally sold on the colour but wanted a change. These will be my winter wheels from now on and in the spring I will replace them with a set of 19’s.

Knocked up a cup holder insert. Hopefully it'll stop drinks flying about while I'm driving . I'm fairly happy with it, just needs a bit of finishing and it'll be good to go.

Today I tried to figure out why one of my rear sliding doors was jammed shut. After removing the panel and eventually removing the mechanism, I opened it up and found the cable was off, put her back together but still doesn’t open   need to have another go and see what’s up.

Got halfway through fitting my new shape polo gti seats before I was beaten my the fading light. Feels nice to sit in, very supporting. They actually needed touran bases to fit, polo must have moved to a more golf based floorpan.

@Ricksy. looks amazing 👍. Yea I found The same. I have recent A1 seats (2019 I think) they have the same bolt spacing as the Golf and A3 so needed Touran bases too.

I was hoping for a straight fit but already had some touran bases in the loft so all good, the good thing is polo gti seats seem much more reasonably priced compared to golf gti.

Started stitching together some blackout blinds for the back doors, not perfect but I will probably re-do them at some point. Quite happy with the magnets just found them in wilko

This here is a fantastic plan mate!

I'll be doing exactly this, after re-tinting the rear windows. They have a thick black (solid) vinyl on at the moment that's scratched and scuffed to bits.

Adjusted my coilovers the other day and found the garage hadn’t fitted the grub screw in the adjuster. As they where adjusted quite far towards the lowest setting and I adjusted them to pretty much the lowest they will go I ordered a 220 piece set of grub screws, now have 219 spare but peace of mind they wont be able to randomly fall off the threads Image
