I like to keep pushing! Hoping it inspires rather than puts people off though!!

I think the front could come up a smidge as you say to cover for bumps but as it’s a parade lap we’re only doing up to 30mph.

Another piece finished. The slam panel on mine has always been a bit rough so planned on skinning it in carbon. Haven’t had time to create the part so used the same carbon sticker and made this for now - and before anyone asks, yes it bugs me that the carbon on the headlight trims isn't going the right way, I have 2 new ones ready to redo

Awesome new additions Dan.

If you want to sell those old carbon headlight pieces I’ll have them. Mine are horrible :)

Your caddy is unbelievable!!!

Every time I read this thread I spot something different that I’d previously missed and your attention to the smallest of details is unreal.

I bet you must go to bed with a note pad for when the next idea comes to you in a vision

Cheers! Yep, my brain never stops and even at a show yesterday I started thinking about the next little update.

I was at Deutsche Fest at Brands Hatch with IDS and another mate who I think is on here too but don’t know his username. London Cartel very kindly had us on their stand and although not the greatest show in terms of what was there, it was a lot of fun and we had arguably the best position of all the club stands.

Had loads of visitors and the biggest number of Caddy fans I’ve seen yet. I was chatting to a lot of people all day about my Caddy and the biggest surprise was the diversity of ages and backgrounds - even had guys in their late 60s who struck me as being very wealthy wanting to know all about it! Best response though was a 6 year old boy who walked round to look in the back and exclaimed “holy mother” Image

Just read your thread, exceptional vision & craftsmanship. I bought my caddy about 6 weeks ago and this has given me the kick up the ass to make a start. 8)

Another little detail no one will notice. Carbon sleeve for the bonnet lifter! Tailgate ones being glued as we speak.

Minor snag with my carbon lifters. I need to fit some end caps to hold them in place better. Hopefully found some that will fit. Fortunately they're not as difficult to swap out as I remember - gently push a flat bladed screwdriver into the slot under the metal retaining clip and lever it up slightly and then pull the strut off the mounting point.

Been working on another project whilst I wait for the 3d printed parts to turn up. Making a coolant/washer bottle cover and I find the best way to start is using some foam core or cardboard to rough out the shape. Think its getting there and next up will be to see if I can model it in sketchup using the dimensions from the model so it can be 3d printed as well, test fitted and then use that as the basis of a mould.

This is the beginning but I've since added some details but forgot to take a photo and it won't be flat like it is but will have some depth.

Managed to re glue the sleeves on and found some end caps that fit with just a hole drilled in the centre.
