I've got one of those manual On buttons for my rear camera too.
Very handy.

Lowered it, went with some coilovers.
Fitted new discs and pads all round, droplinks, wishbones and of course top mounts as standard.
Really happy with it now.

Made a big difference hey. Used menzerna heavy cut compound andmedium cut polish on a polishing wheel attached to a drill. Loads of passes working the Product in at a relatively slow speed making sure the lens didnt get hot

don't suppose you took any videos of your handy work
did you use these two compounds at the same time ?

I didnt sorry mate. Used the heavy cut compound first on a medium pad (make sure there's plenty product on the pad to start with, dont want dry patches causing friction/heat) and work it in at a slow speed (keep feeling the lens just to make sure you're not getting it hot). Couple of passes working the product in well then buff off. Repeat with the medium compound. Ideally finish off with a finishing compound and some wax to gi e it some UV protection

1st proper drive since I had 2 new injectors fitted (1.6tdi) and fuel economy is back to previous levels. Should have realised something was wrong when I was only getting 30mpg

Upgraded my CAN gateway to a 7N0 907 530AC from a 2012 Touran. My 2008 van finally recognizes the RNS-315 through VCDS, but the vehicle speed dependent volume feature still does not work. At least I could disable DAB radio which is not in use where I live.
I also bought Midline Touran clocks to replace my poverty spec base instrument cluster. I wanted Highline clocks, but there were none available at any local breakers since I need the pure petrol version. Now, there is a problem finding people who could swap over the data from my old Lowline clocks

It should be simple enough, using Vag-Tacho, right?

Vag-Tacho won't do much for a 2008 instrument cluster, those use immo4c which has encrypted data requiring some specialist tools.

Not the most exciting thing to do to your van but it was annoying me none the less
