Water ingress through cabin interior light?

Took the van to VW and spoke to someone from their warranty dept but it appears to be a replacement window so they will not entertain any form of repair or replacement which i guess is fair enough in the circumstances. I phoned a mate (who changed my timing belt/tensioner/waterpump last month) and as his primary work is maintaining and fettling rally cars he knew a guy who can remove my windscreen and rebond it back in place, if he trusts him with the multitude of exotica in his workshop then my caddy windscreen will be a piece of piss - getting it done on Wednesday morning.........Yay for friends who know people
