No pics, but went to get the mirrors and bixenon programmed along with the cc and turns out the door modules are locked, even vcds had the mirrors folding but 1 in , 1 out, still can’t get the sidelights working on their own, and think I really need to get a new slip ring, I believe cc won’t work on BC if it’s a dsg model , confused my mates boy big time

Re: What did you do to your van today?
Today I put a single mattress in the back behind the folded forward 2nd row seats and confirmed that there's plenty of space for me to sleep. I had to remove one of the 3rd row seats (and made a mental note that it was rather heavy). I'm starting to form a plan for making a bed frame over the folded 2nd and 3rd row seats but kipping on a mattress on the floor will do for now!

I bought some 2019 Audi A4 S line front seats today.....I'm having a go at adapting the standard Caddy Bases tomorrow to make them fit.......
They cost me 119 quid for the pair and collected locally.
I have noticed the air bag plugs are not compatible but I can cut and join the caddy seat plugs to the Audi seats

Re: What did you do to your van today?
Got my S21 Beacon
Mandatory for driving in Spain from 01/01/2026
(Edit: Mandatory to carry for use in an emergency while driving in Spain)
Top Tip : Buy it from Amazon.es
Comes with the IOT SIM built in that is also mandatory in Spain ...
and it is (probably) cheaper !

Edit:
Sorry for the confusion - Mandatory to carry for use in an emergency !

What the hell
Why on earth would this eyesore be mandatory ?
What's the reasoning ?
Surely a magnetic device would be better than drilling thru your roof - especially if your only visiting or travelling thru Spain....

Re: What did you do to your van today?
Sorry for the confusion - It is magnetic
Not a permanent fixture, it replaces the warning triangle as the new mandatory safety warning device for 2026+ in Spain.
It has GPS and IOT connectivity built in to relay position automatically to the road authorities in Spain when activated.

Edit: Sorry for the confusion !
I have edited the original post to add that it is for use in an emergency.
