Scotscad wrote:Hi UINS, regarding ur seat bases. Im sure it depends whatseats ur going to fit as some seats fit the standard bases without modifying. I fitted audi a5 seats to my standard bases and had to drill holes on the bases and their fine. Dont quote me but i think golf and audi a3 seats fit straight onto caddy bases and maybe some others. Hope this helps.
Hi mate. Ok great, thanks for the info… I’ve been reading a lot on here that most VAG should fit the bases I have. But I’m unsure. And I’m a bit wary of trying to modify anything, even drilling a seat base as I’m sure I’ll mess it up somehow

still struggling to decide which seats I want

Audi A1 seats are a direct fit, all else need either drilled or touran bases

Just updated the MIB using mibsolution.one and an SD Card. Great website and videos on YouTube. I was hoping this would allow me to use Apple CarPlay but still saying I need an Activation Key. Am I going to have to pay £50 off eBay for an SD card with one? Or can I do this myself. Any help appreciated, can’t seem to find much online. Cheers. Andy

The BG installed aftermarket reverse sensors have packed up on my van, well apparently one was never connected since I had it which explains why I kept hitting one of our recycling bins!
So I had the panel off to find the box and I've ordered exactly the same thing so I can I just change the sensors and then plug them into the existing box/sounder.
If it's not the sensors I'll just keep replacing bits till it works I guess.
(The kit was £15)
Whilst I've got the panel off I started putting some sound deadening inside and I'll pop some insulation in once the reverse sensors are fixed. It's not going to be a posh carpeted camper as it's my work van but I may as well make it slightly more quiet and comfortable to sleep in when required.
All the OE panels are a bit knackered so I'm going to slowly work my way through the van replacing those original panels with 6mm ply and I'll deaden and insulate as I go.

The SD cards online are just using the free software available online. Just go careful with either as iv seen a few bricked units recently with people doing this them self.

Are you sure your head unit is the correct hardware version? I believe it's either Technisat or Delphi, and I believe only the Technisat one works. Must also be the correct MIB2 Toolbox version for the firmware on your unit (you may have to upgrade or downgrade)

True, 3 makers of the same stereo name and they are all completely different inside. Delphi, Bosch and Technisat and I've taken two rcd510 apart for repair, one Bosch and one Delphi, nothing alike at all. Different hardware and software but look the same at the front.

The one in my Mk7 Golf is a Delphi. I found the correct software to enable Android Auto / CarPlay. But since the software change the USB no longer works

So I'm back to square one

Bloody pipe snapped when doing my rear caliper today. Looking at the parts numbers on LLlParts diagram and there is 2 numbers. I can’t work out which one I need from 2k5611764a or 2k0611764d. Anyone with any help???? Is it to do with brake disc size?
