Thanks both.
Well I’m rather excited and happy after tonight’s little play around.
I know to most this will mean nothing, and is nowhere near as exciting as shiny wheels etc. But to me this is amazing and what really matters with progress of car modifications.
That’s my original Caddy VIN in a SIMOS 18 ECU

…….. which means we now have 100% full integration of my EA888.3, IMMO intact, nothing bypassed, nothing tricked, no loom swaps, no splicing, no “custom front subframe” and definitely no bodged fuel tank. 100% OE level conversion.
I’d love for the VW engineers to carryout a full inspection of the van now, and hear what they think. As they put some serious effort in trying to prevent things like this from happening.
Thanks to Nikki @Twinsport who has persevered with the development and has absolutely smashed the ball out of the park with this. It’s awesome to see a mate working in his spare time leading the way with progression of the SIMOS 18 ECU possibilities.
It’s not what you can see that matters, it’s what you can’t.

I think we all know that just because we can't see your work it's still way beyond expectations.
Fair play to Nikki for solving this, I'll need to get my ECU sorted now.

Bet you're glad I pestered Nikki to carry on cracking it now and not bowing down to my stupid MK100 issue haha
Fair play to you for going and getting it done so quickly, was only the other day it was done

I bet your pleased
I’ve said it before, anyone can bolt a big set of wheels on (not like yours obvs) but this stuff is equally or more important
It’s a jaw dropping achievement. Congratulations

Finally got round to removing my bumper arch trims from my van and getting my new genuine Alltrack rear bumper ready to be painted.
Would like to say thanks to Wayne (@Fishermansfriend) for the very kind offer of lending me his sensor punch, even though I didn’t need it in the end as the body shop had one that he lent me.
Hopefully I’ll get a couple of hours to also get my front removed this week, then it can be redone at the same time.
(Please ignore the length of my grass but I haven’t had 5 minutes lately due to being halfway through renovating my house (have to keep the wife happy)).

I would like to say this is the final piece of the jigsaw, but I know it probably isn’t

looking forward to seeing it on mate. And fantastic effort with the new shiny bits in the engine bay!

@FishermansFriend Ha ha it’s always a careful balancing act.
@Guy94 cheers mate, still got lots I want to do really. I have some more Carbon for in the engine bay in work and I have more I want done once time/funds allow, but putting my house back together is taking priority at the minute.
