Another set of stunning photos! Congratulations on the accomplishment. Sure Mike would send you the hi-res versions if you asked him. Think Ryan got the ones of mine from him that he put in a frame to give to me at Hef Fest.
Love the carbon trim for the back of the core support. And there I was thinking I was the insane one when it came to obscure details...........

You've done a cracking job on that. Carbon is a real black art and I've had a tonne of headaches and made mistakes doing it in the past. Watch out that you don't get too addicted to it and end up doing a carbon course and buying a vacuum pump like I did

Thanks Dan, yeah he has said he will send me a copy of the set after they have been used in VW Bus magazine.
Ha ha nothing insane with having a quest for perfection, although it can often drive you slightly insane.
It certainly is a black art, was a steep learning curve that’s for sure. I’ve got some other parts I’m currently working on, which are testing me to the point I’ve ripped the carbon off twice already

(which is easier said than done). So fingers crossed I won’t get that bad. However, I won’t confirm if I’ve looked at vac kits already

I’ve just spent the past two days reading through this thread. The attention to detail is just phenomenal. I thought it couldn’t get better and then came more interior mods/engine swap/ custom wheels!
Credit where it’s due, you’ve done some amazing work over the years!

Just been sent some teasers of a couple of the parts I’m having made in Carbon. I’m really excited for the changes that I’ll be making to the engine bay next week. Roll on parts collection day on Tuesday, and the busy week ahead to get the van to a relatively decent standard for Ultimate Dubs show next weekend.
Full Carbon Bulkhead panel and throttle housing trim (both still in raw finish, yet to be trimmed and finished)
In progress
Mould in work

Those bits are going to look great when fitted Chris. Just when I think ‘surely he’s run out of stuff to do’ you surprise with new mods!

I’m looking forward as always to seeing what you’re going to do next.
I’m starting to think about my engine bay, not an engine swap, just making it look nicer. R8 oil cap etc. I might have a crack at colour coding some bits eventually too.
