Thanks lads, it’s coming together nicely. Seatbelts were done by Midland retrims, the belts I got with the rear seats had slight fraying so it just made sense to keep it mint.
Front roof lining carpeted, rear roof panel made and carpeted, Passat W8 interior light fit and loom made up for rear foot well and B post lights (with no cutting or splicing into the original caddy loom), also wired up and installed four roof LED’s on a separate switch by the rear door (I do a lot of fell running so will get changed in the rear).
I will be changing the B-post trims in the future but the cutdown bulkhead will have to put me on until then.

Dash and rubber flooring removed and all the looms installed for the footwell lights, Passat W8 interior light, dash cam and DAB aerial. Hopefully get time to install the Touran dash, front carpets and centre console tomorrow.
Interior is getting there now, centre console in & dash 90% in, just need to fit the connectors for the floor lighting then I can fit the glovebox and light switch panel. A-post trims will have to wait until the van is outside. The red stitching on the steering wheel and gear knob will kill me but it will have to stay until I can justify buying a GTD wheel and knob.
Few hours spare tonight so thought I’d get the interior sort of finished off, just needs door panels done, A-post trims and dash trims (once they come back from being wrapped). Ambient floor lights are hard to see on the camera but look great. All light feeds taken from the W8 interior light loom so fully dimmable and also only one wire tied in to the stock Caddy loom, I hate altering stock looms if I can help it. Won’t get time to touch it until late January/February now then I’ll start on the front end. Just shy of 120 hours spent on it so far (not including paint) reckon there’s about another 80 or so needed to have it ready for the road.
