Just to raise them to a similar height to standard seats, means I can store stuff under the seats too.ben_faulkner wrote:beautiful seats, i decided to go with the leather R32's but love the pattern on these seats. what does the extension do?

No coding. The standard lamps are wired to the BCM on the same outputs as the interior light. ( no footwell dedicated circuit on a caddy)tovtm wrote:Do they need coding?
The red LEDs are wired to the illumination circuit ( back of esp switch for me)

i finally got round to connecting the illumination wire on the back of my Pioneer head unit, i was sick of getting blinded when driving in the dark, i connected it to the ESP (traction control) button, grey wire with a blue stripe if anyone else needs to do it

Re: What did you do to your van today?
Thanks for the reply Steve. I'll have a google. What happens if you just wire in an LED without a resistor.S.w.blackwell wrote: I can have a look but unless you have the same LED the resistance may not be ideal, you should base your resistor on the LED voltage and mA. Plenty of calculators if you google.
Steve
I've got some pre wired ones that seem to work OK if I connect them across a 12v battery...

Both fogs also come on when reversing....maxx007at wrote:Changed the BCM from lowline to highline.
Al to enable from foglights, chlh and cornering lights (front foglight on the side that you're turning to turns on in the corner and turns of when you're straight again)

Nice temperature reading. Your Air conditioning will have to work to cool down your caranoneamus wrote:

Re: What did you do to your van today?
Fitted these today. Left is RHD, Right is LHD (so that there are 2 reverse lights). Will sort out a dual-filament fog lamp (like the old ones) in due course (or not, as fog lamp is not a legal or practical requirement in South Africa).

Can you wire the leds straight into the illumination circuit or do they need any kind of resistor etc?
