Just to raise them to a similar height to standard seats, means I can store stuff under the seats too.

No coding. The standard lamps are wired to the BCM on the same outputs as the interior light. ( no footwell dedicated circuit on a caddy)

The red LEDs are wired to the illumination circuit ( back of esp switch for me)

i finally got round to connecting the illumination wire on the back of my Pioneer head unit, i was sick of getting blinded when driving in the dark, i connected it to the ESP (traction control) button, grey wire with a blue stripe if anyone else needs to do it

Thanks for the reply Steve. I'll have a google. What happens if you just wire in an LED without a resistor.

I've got some pre wired ones that seem to work OK if I connect them across a 12v battery...

Al to enable from foglights, chlh and cornering lights (front foglight on the side that you're turning to turns on in the corner and turns of when you're straight again)
Both fogs also come on when reversing....

Nice temperature reading. Your Air conditioning will have to work to cool down your car Image

Fitted these today. Left is RHD, Right is LHD (so that there are 2 reverse lights). Will sort out a dual-filament fog lamp (like the old ones) in due course (or not, as fog lamp is not a legal or practical requirement in South Africa).

Very nice little mod.

Can you wire the leds straight into the illumination circuit or do they need any kind of resistor etc?
