Thanks for kind words Dan.
It will really start taking shape fast now as all the custom work is done including the mirrors so its just primer (done today) then flat/prep, paint, flat+polish then paint gloss black parts and then my bit, fitting it all back together :D
I wish mine was at this stage. I started bonding some of the kit on tonight but I still have both rear arches to make :(

Its not too bad. I only stay for an hour or so after work and all day Saturday and the odd couple of hours on Sundays.
I was looking through my photos and I got my van at the end of April. It seams to be taking forever. No rush though as I still love my blue van ;)

Loving the work love and attention that's going into this project. What is the rough cost for a golf r bumper for my caddy. Cheers

My guess is its a rendering

I mentioned many many months ago there is a touran r in the pipeline so maybe vw are going to create caddy r too

Yes you are correct, I found a reference to it as a rendering somewhere else. Maybe when they see all the different "R" versions we're creating on here they'll think about doing a proper Caddy R! Maybe they'll get some inspiration about how it should look but more importantly, how easy it would be to raid the parts bin.

I agree that Rs are often blue at launch and no coincidence I was sold on my Caddy before I even saw it in the flesh!

Yes my Caddy will have Touran mirrors. Reflex are building them and believe they have a new design of bracket to aid fitting. They still require plastic welding but won't need bungs welding into the door pillar.

So it looks like I've sorted a garage to store the Caddy over winter and try and keep this paintjob as amazing as it already is, and just seen a couple of updates on fb...........

Really great work. Are you going to fit the Golf R front spoiler p/n 5K0805903F9B9?

Are you are referring to the black undertrim for the bumper seen in the image below? In which case yes, my Golf R bumper came with one so hopefully Matt can utilise it to attach to the oe mounting points.
