Probably the first hybrid bumper for the Caddy 5, have posted it as a project as well, will post more pictures later as the van gets more mods as well.

BTW still no auto wipers. They only had the van 4 weeks so perhaps I’m the problem and expecting too much!!!
I've seen loads on the road but zero on the forecourts. Seem in the UK the people who modify these vans and add £7500 to the price got first dibs on whatever was available.
The basic white van with plastic bumpers seems to be the common available option outside of those resellers. I've seen more than a few as escort vehicle for oversized loads on the motorways.

I don't agree they need modifying for every user, I feel what VWcvUK have done is force the companies or individuals who just want a new van, to go elsewhere. £7000 will very quickly make a business forget about brand loyalty.
Remember our 2k vans were released in 2004 but there was very little in the way of modifications done up until 2006 or later.

It’s been launched at quite a bad time really. The shortage of semi conductors amongst other things is crippling the car industry at the moment. Some lead times are 12 months and more. I think ordinarily, you’d have a supply of modded vans and also standard vans in dealerships.

Agree with that, but it starts looking much better if you modify them, but that's with the older as well and that is just personal for each person as well. Glad that not each caddy looks exactly the same, would be boring.
I still can't get over how the Transit Tourneo/Connect is essentially a rebadged Caddy. All that rubbish VW said that it wouldn't be this model. The interiors are identical - you wouldn't know which one you were in if the badges on the steering wheel were covered up, even the steering wheel is identical!
