I will just drill the spot welds circled and do the same on the new inner wing panel and then weld the new section in.
I will take photos on saturday when i do it.

My coilovers turned up today so i want to fit the fronts tomorrow night while the wings are off and then the new front can be fitted on Saturday.

Not a bolt on job then Matt? Is that the only bit of welding needed for the new front end?

Yeah thats the only bit. Its a shame you can't just buy the end bit rather than the whole inner wing panel.
The lower wing brackets also have to be changed but they just bolt on ;)

Here are the promised photos of the van with the V2 front trial fitted.

More parts needed. The lower wing brackets are also different.

Thanks :D
I can't wait to get it finished now. Its come so far in just over a week but its nearly ready for the paintshop now and thats when it slows down because i don't paint so i will have to wait for a gap in the paying customers cars :(

Things to do.
1) Remove LH doors and rub down with long block with 180 grit.
2) Change upper rear tailgate hinge panel to accept new tailgate. (order new one Monday)
3) Order Wheels.
4) High build prime LH repairs for the final time.
5) Prep and paint.
6) Flat and polish.
7) Fit up van.
8) Trial fit wheels and order spacers if needed.
9) Measure rear wheel position and modify so it sits central in the arch.
10) Trim ply line and fit.

You can't ply line that bute, that's a prime candidate for a carpeting in the rear is it not?
