I think the things possibly needed coding. I eventually managed to connect up all the switchs but nothing happened, so I tried connecting the door cards to a separate 12 volt source (battery charger) and then tried a variety of switch connections. The switches would only go in one direction, (left up , right down) and I think now they may have been goosed. Eventually I managed to burn them out so they were deffinitely goosed. Bought some new ones, but could not work out how they work, by dismantling and studying the cicuit. The switches are full of transistors and I think work by varyation of current rather than change of direction of current. I am not sure if they fullfill the job of relays that you would find in older cars, or if there is additional stuff in the box next to the motor. So to cut a long story short I have gone agricultural! Both windows now working, so I have at last got the door cards on. We are getting there. Woody

Wood at last. It has taken a while so had to be patient. Darren at Liquid Garfix did a great job.





Also fitted my pimped steering wheel. A lot cheaper than a new one and gos with the interior.


And did a bit of alcantara roof wrapping. Looks ok from a distance!! I'll have to re-do the roof coz I did it with a hangover and made a balls of it. Lesson learned!


Some good progress, but all interior lights have stopped workingincluding the lights behind the heater control switches. Any ideas welcomed. Thanks Woody
