Like the look of these dashboards. If no issues may have to upgrade

This is an interesting thread, if you had said "virtual instrument cluster" my initial thoughts would be no way! Especially where it was never an option. (OEM+ is my preferred modifications)
However, looking through this thread and the examples, these do look to be of a reasonable quality!

@gazza31112 how are you finding the dash a couple of months on? Reading TMG's posts, he states its a version they have worked on to fit better, but I think its Just the AE version? Did you just pay for delivery and fit it yourself, how did it compare to previous models it fitting, and slotting in?gazza31112 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 25, 2025 8:29 am Hi mate,
The add blue works, not 100% sure yet if I get a reminder, but definitely has an add blue range.
It does have Bluetooth but iv never actually connected it as I use my head unit for music and android auto.
It has screen mirroring which works through WiFi but as I have a Google pixel which won't allow anything to be mirrored that's not Google... It doesn't work.
But was showed at TMG that it works perfectly with an Iphone, and my Mrs Samsung connected straight away.
It's been in since the end of January, no issues at all with it resetting or turning off.
The distance radar does bring up a symbol, similar to the one on the standard cluster but it does flash which is a tiny bit annoying, the crash warning will do its usual beep but not show anything.
You can personalize the colour of the van on screen and ambient colours, there's other VW models to scroll through, can change from a MK3 to MK4
It has a weird little race mode which can time your 0-60s (it's a bit of a gimmick tbh)
There's definitely a few things which tell you it's not OEM.... But overall I'm really happy with it
Btw have you got an Instagram? I had a few questions regarding your modified xenon's..
I'll ping you over a pm on here but I see your not on here very often. Cheers![]()

TMG say they ship with all required tools and instruction video, assume its still a case of swapping motherboard and chips where required over?
Also how are things like AdBlue alerts, and Service Intervals handled, do they still display?
Cheers.

Hi mate, so far so good with it. Had no issues at all.
I was going up to the lake District anyway so I just stopped by tmg to have it installed by them. Did look pretty easy if you know what your doing, just swapping a few things over.
Adblue and service intervals are in the menu but I haven't had an alert come up, so assume (not certain) because haven't left my adblue to get that low, that you have to go into the menu to check the levels.

Thanks, thats great to know! Its definitely on my list. I have watched a couple of vids of the install required for those units, I think if patient and careful its not the most difficult. Appreciate the reply! Cheers!
