If you do a little bit of digging around on his profile link to Instagram, then to a company that repairs "dubs". Come across a gentleman that I can only presume is "Doc" as they have the same black mk3 caddy. He's still active on his personal Instagram account, maybe he's just not interested with running the forum anymore.

Who knows, shame that the forum is the way it is. Hopefully somebody can find the will to set up something new.

His own profile is @doc_caddy2k and I don't think he worked at "dubs" but was known to them.

He's not been active on Instagram for quite some time. I have dm'd the Dubs company to see if they know what happened to him, so will update if I find anything out.
