Finally located a set of mk5 Gti golf seats. To fit into a 12 caddy. If I get touran bases does that mean they will just bolt in? Anyone know of any going in Ireland anywhere?

Just be aware that the seat bolts need to be changed when using the Touran bases.

In my case I used the original Caddy bolts to bolt the Touran frames to the floor, but the Caddy seat to frame bolts would not fit.

Yep. Im my case I did not have the Touran bolts, only the bases so I brought my own M10x50 bolts.

Think there only 40 or 50 cents a bolt so worth getting new ones

Yep, fitted the bases to the van and lined the seats up before marking/removing/drilling and fitting back in, 20 mins a side if I remember, think I had to grind a locating pin from the seat rails to

The seating and the part your back rests against is done in perforated leather too

What sort of money was it to get your seats trimmed in leather ?

Also does anyone know will all mk5 seats fit onto caddy rails or is it just GTI seats ?

I would like to get standard mk5 3 door seats and get them re trimmed in leather. Im not a massive fan of the GTI seats and I have a black leather center arm rest so would like to keep it all uniform.

They should of been £500.00 ,,,,, I only paid £350.00 I got them cheaper as I gave them 4 caddy seats , basically you give them your seats and they re trim them to your specification

Hi buddy is that the touran centre console in there aswell? What seat bases did u use? The seem to be a good height to get use out of the armrest.
