@Glen G
Really wish I could. Have to keep the ride height stock on this one.
The van needs replacement front shocks, due to KMs.

I need the the ground clearance, so despite my preference being static low, bags would be my only option. I dont have the coin for that currently, nor is a good quality kit commonplace in Australia.
Just for reference, he's the van stock height on the BBS

Finally put together the next video episode of Covid-caddy.
Bit of a linking video, not a lot of action in this one sorry.

Thank you.
As promised the next video was released a lot sooner than the last one.
A summary of it's contents in pictures follows, then of course the link to the video itself.
The mission was simple, replacement seats (previously for daily use in my golf) and some deeper cleaning.
Starting with the OG seats, that despite high KMs and age cleaned up nicely.
Thus leaving a big seat shaped hole, and a whole lotta dirt.
Yuck!
Floor covering lifted for the installing of seat looms, electronic adjustment and heating function. (Shout out to Stanthevwcaddyman on insta for the looms)
Took the console out for a high pressure scrub too.
New stools in question
All sorted
Here's the video showing all the interior installs plus the fitting of the BBS wheels.

Thanks for watching.

Great videos. The van is coming along nicely. The air vent really improve the look of the dashboard. I am looking forward to seeing the next upgrades

Thank you. The original vents gave me flashbacks of new beetles from the early 2000's, they had to go.
My bank account is not so keen for the next batch of upgrades.

Yes they really do and they were definitely designed for function and nothing else. I have been debating putting a Touran dashboard in mine to get shut of them but seeing those Audi vents as got me question which I should to do now.
I assume with the adaptors behind the middle ones you had full air flow again?
I can imagine. There are so many upgrades that can be done to caddy’s, as I’ve found out from being on this forum.

Being in Australia, we never got the Touran so that wasn't an option for me. I considered fitting the new caddy dash, but that requires heater box and look +all modules. I'd basically have to buy a smashed caddy to do it. Plus I wanted to drive my caddy asap to enjoy the fuel economy to save some money

Just read through the whole thread, brilliant work! Love the red too, not sure I’ve ever seen any Red Caddy’s in the wild.

Thank you. I hope it's interesting, it's mostly been cleaning and maintenance thus far.
Red vans aren't common here, not sure what the % of vans are red overseas. Australia got 2 red in the early vans, both equally unusal. Mine the MK5 GTI tornardo red, there's a darker more Porsche like red. but I've only ever seen 1 panel van in that colour. I think it might have been a factory order, or promotional vehicle.
