You can put imobaliser back on, but not sure if it is a service revo normally offer. But if you ask nice they may do. If not others can.

When imobaliser is off it will run with no gauge pod. Well mine did anyway. What's it doing? Does it start then cut? Guess it turns over?

Don't know. They didn't get into specifics in the email. I'll try and get more info next week. I want to confirm that the immob will be reinstated as not keen on it being deleted permanently, even though I planned on upgrading to a proper alarm system.

It lives! Its on jumper cables and the exhaust only has the downpipe but we're getting closer.

I'm trying not to get too excited as it's a long way off but good to see real progress.

Stoked! It'll be a fun wee beasty when it's up and running - certainly surprise a few boy racers at traffic lights etc

I just got a Touran and a crashed A3 3.2... just working through the immo stuff on that  Hoping to not have too much trouble!

What was the issue? Was it the imobaliser?

The only update is that it's not going to be ready until next year :( The company doing the custom exhaust are fully booked until mid jan. That's a weeks work and then at least a week on the finishing touches. Bit gutted but can't do anything about it.
