DeanWhit wrote:@woody67 If love a set of these but I think the Wife would murder me if bought a set. I've not left mine alone since I bought it and it's already causing raised eyebrows haha.
Very nice mod though, are they a straight forward fit?

They look it, remove from panel unbolt and bolt new ones on, only thing I’m a little unsure of is the connectors but will sort one way or another.
Stedlocks wrote:@woody67 how much did TPS charge for the set, if you don't mind me asking?
I want to know if your TPS is cheaper than mine!
Of course pal:
Housings £94.12 each
Covers £9.56 each
N/s glass £42.75
O/S glass £44.80
All trade price including vat
Tbh I shopped around, bought the housings from TPS, the covers from a eBay store who sell genuine covers but to your body colour as I wanted them colour coded and the glass I bought new old stock from Germany at £20 delivered per side
Looks fantastic Sean. I'm doing something similar with my engine cover. Neon green and black to match my caddy colours. How did you get perfection on the 'TDI' lettering? What did you use? I was thinking of using one of the missus old nail varnish brushes lol
@Euge I used Halfords colour pens they have tiny little bushes in them it takes time but worth it in the end.
@Sheepy thanks buddy I got the air intake to do and the fuse box to do
Hi there newbie still on this forum. Have owned my 2008 caddy now for getting on for a month.
So far I have replaced the headlight switch, drivers interior door lever surround as old one was broken, emailed a company for the vans radio code, but I will be definitely look at fitting an aftermarket dab one.
Replaced the high level brake light, looking to get some cool white side light bulbs and interior ones so if anyone can recommend a reputable company to order these from?
Second hand engine cover from Germany arrived so have fitted that but would like to tidy up if not order a new piece of foam that sits in the engine bay behind the engine block.
Waiting for my wheels to arrive but will look at tidying up the brake callipers and discs as these are going to look pretty pants behind the alloys.
Then I am going to lower it slightly, swaying towards the eibach springs as I have these on my rs3 and really am impressed with them.
