Started the van on my birthday morning to a flashing glow plug light on the dash.

Plugged it into diagnostics and its came up with fuel pressure regulator fault.

Anyone know how much this is gonna cost to fix?

Drove from Norwich to Dub Unit to get Matt to remap the Caddy. The van now pulls a lot cleaner than the Revo map I had done, plus the fuel economy is back to more how it had been. Matt is also a really interesting guy to talk to with a wealth of knowledge. Just a shame Dub Unit isn't a bit closer to home for some future work.

Looks mint dude! Just about to pull the pin on the same bumper, was it a straight fit or did anything need moving to accomodate?

Busy weekend, door cards off so thought I would do a few jobs, door entry lights added, window switches swapped, door handles swapped for chrome ones, sound proofing added and finally the dreaded whistle has gone with the removal of those stupid mirrors ImageImageImageImageImageImage

Thanks palImage... not a straight forward fit as its made from 2 bumpers so lots of fettling prior to paint but after that pretty easy fit

Pretty standard stuff but, picked up Touran based for €20 and Passat CC seats for €40 euro...bargin!
Fitted and wired the drivers seat and the passenger seat.
Added a Touran armrest and fitted mudflaps and a row bar this weekend.
The van already has spot lights so the only remaining thing I’d like to do is for side bars and fix a dent in the back door.
Has anyone a rough price for respraying the left spade rear door....black metallic paint?

Also got an 02m gearbox with shafts etc, just need to justify purchasing a new flywheel kit for a 2008 1.9tdi van with a perfect flywheel.

Yep mines made from two also, I wondered if there was anything in the engine bay that needed to be moved around to accommodate the fitting, wasn’t sure if the screen wash bottle needed moving

Ahhhh sorry m8 I wasn't sure if you thought it was taken straight off a gti and fitted ImageImage... no nothing to move a very easy fit .....did you make the bumper yourself?...the only other thing I can recall is the very lowest part of the bumper where it goes back under the van I put a few screws in there to pull it back up ..... on the gti it would probably have fitted to a sump guard here

Has it made much difference with the sound deadening on the front doors mate? Mirrors look smart by the way 👍
