Spray tinted rear lights ,had a chrome grill, bit of an impulse buy, didn't like it.
Used the tint spray on it and the VW badge.
(Iv got the sensor behind so can't do anything else with it or buy an aftermarket or I get a front assist warning).
I like how it turned out, looks gloss black in the pic but the chrome on the grill turned more of a gunmetal.
Get a few layers of clear lacquer on it tonight and get them fitted tommorow

Managed to get my fogs in and bumper back on,
Needs to be removed as I’m going to have to make a bracket for the washer bottle,
But fogs in an r bumper
Will get down the garage tomorrow to adjust them up and pointing where they should aswell cause they look to low at the minute.

Be careful fitting the PTC heater in that fashion in a caddy with stop/start, it should really be integrated to the ECU to save damaging the smart alternator and battery.
I am working on the assumption, based on you having only one relay, that you are controlling the relay with an external source. This is not ideal.

Hi peely, bought the heater off eBay for £16 and the loom from Benjamin Pratt

Cheers doc, it’s dsg so no stop start, not ideal I know I’ve taken a signal from the rear heated screen to trigger the heater to come in and then drop out as the rear screen switches off

Having done this conversion myself I can vouch that you will not regret it! Great mod and anoneamus’s thread is also invaluable!

Fitted the R36 3.6 litre V6 engine and dsg box to my Caddy. Well didn’t fit it today but 10 days of running it since completion on Xmas eve all is going well, brilliant in fact. 300 bhp standard but running 320bhp with map. Such a responsive engine compared to the previous 3.2 Audi V6 and as said previously the dsg box is outstanding. Even mpg is slighly improved! So all good so far
