Nice!
Think I have the same one as your old one, is the picture better?
Where did you get it from?

It’s about the same quality mate. Due to the angle of the camera, you can’t see as far behind you as the old one, but still enough to see what’s what.
It was £7 on eBay mate

Just got it back from auto electrics that sorted out the battery drain... turns out the previous owners fitted airhorns very poorly

I have an indium grey mk4 like you, I think the gloss black really sets it off. Did you spray the colour coded side strips and rear door handle yourself? I want to do this but am thinking off getting a body shop to do it while they do my rear spoiler and side rail cover.

I did it all myself, if I did it again id do it differently, Iv learnt alot about it.... Just too late lol.
The side strips are gloss black, they were quite easy after smoothing them out, place on eBay does rattle can indium grey, and the match is pretty much perfect, £20 for a can and laquer, just used Halfords primer, but soon realised the 1k lacquer is just shit, (Halfords one is even worse) even after 4 coats and left to dry for days you can still mark it with your finger nail, got some two part 2k lacquer off eBay and that was 10x better dries much harder.
My main error was not buffing after the lacquer (still havnt with the spoiler or number plate trim and side rail cover) but honestly if you don't really look hard you would never notice,
Been spraying a few interior bits over last few days and I'm polishing them up with T-cut like I did with the grill and they look almost mirror like.
I must say it's been a f**king pain to do though, so much messing up and doing it again!
I'm just cheap and think ahhhh why not try it myself, how hard can it be??? Then I find out!!

If u do decide on doing it yourself
That's the indium grey eBay number

That's the 2k better lacquer

Awesome thanks for the tips and part numbers mate. I think I will get a quote from the body shop and if it seems a bit steep I think I will have a crack myself - like decorating the house it’s all in the prep init haha
