Caddy was asking for a service for a while so I went to DubUnit for a oil and filter change.
Engine air filter was spotless so that will be ok until the next service or I might fit a K&N for some induction sound.

Spotted that I've managed to scrub the Fumoto drain valve, I'm not even that low. Image

Cheers.
ETKA or some of the online parts catalogue sites will have a diagram of the parts but not likely showing how they all go together.

Cheers I'll have a look, trying to remove my slamlock and revert back to the standard.....finally!!! but there's quite a few bits missing, cables and rods mainly,
Managed to put the main handle/rod back together, so central locking works, but I think the standard key barrel lock is cable controlled from what I can see from the movement of the mechanism, And what do you know, it's missing!!! I think I know where most of it goes. Just need to figure out what to buy! Havnt been able to open my rear doors all week so frustrating climbing in the side door over a shelf just so flick it open from the inside latch!!

I managed to remove the front fixing points of a bit of soundproofing material that covers the sump? I had to rip it off at the side of the road as it was sounding like a load of stones rattling off the bottom... Anyone know what the name of this bit is? Or a part number?
Its noticeably louder at tick over without it though!
Ill try to order a new bit plus a belly pan tomorrow from TPS, if I can.

I’ve discovered I have parts missing from my lower dash, and that I have an electrical issue. My W8 light is staying on very dim with all the doors closed. I’ve checked the lights in the rear as I know that can cause the issue and it’s not that. I’ve also noticed the door warning light doesn’t come on when I open the drivers door. I’ve had both door cards off so I need to check my connections.

So here I am still on Night-shift (Lunch break), and it's been a fairly successful day :D
First appointment of the day at 07.30 this morning, and App Connect all done and dusted, and works a treat. This coupled with the KPH to MPH VCDS mod, last week make it more like my Golf to drive, and I chucked in a Brodit Clip to hold the phone.

Whilst I was waiting for the App Connect, I traipsed up to TPS to buy some bits, only to find out (Numpty that I am) that you need a trade account
so back to VW Van Centre and ordered my engine cover and bits
1x 04L 103 925 Q (Engine cover)
2x 04L 103 164 (ball joints)
1x 04L 133 287 (oil filler O ring)
I've seen a couple on sale on eBlag, but decided to get new. I'm hoping FFS that they are the correct ones

I would have posted a few piccies, but Tapatalk keeps saying file upload size too big, so looks like I'll need to 'buy' support from them ? £0.99p per month or £9.99p a year.

So question, I've just seen CaddyAnts blinding MFSW upgrade above, and really would like to do a similar on mine ? I can get a really good virtually unmarked R-Line MFSW from a late model Polo, complete with airbag, and without DSG paddles, and I'm hoping that this should be a straight swap with no coding issues ? I already have cruise control etc. etc on my existing Caddy wheel controls, and although I also have the DSG box I obviously don't have paddles either (I have them in my golf R and never use them anyway) Can anyone confirm or deny that this is feasible ?

Cheers
