Acoustic Carpet for lining the rear?

Post by deank60 »

Hi, my van is currently just ply lined, want to add Vinyl to the floor and carpet to sides etc. Anyone recommend a decent carpet to use?

Thanks

Deano.

No, it comes on a roll, super stretchy.
The side above was done in one piece. (Lower ply panel was carpeted and added afterwards)

Tommyzooom thanks for the info, is there anything under your carpet protecting the single skin panel?

Did you carpet straight on the single panel or put something on first?

i used mega van mats for mine £24 delivered for 3 meters of grey acoustic carpet. Mines ply lined(not arches) and there was enough to do both sides and above side doors (maxi kombi van) looks sweet now. Tip on spray glue...... BOYES £2.70 for a 500ml tin half the price of else where.

Yeh bud, 6mm ply in the single-skin parts first, then carpet over
