Re: My Caddy 'R' build thread
Cheers. Its proving to be a pain to fit as the crash bar needs trimming. I've run out of Dremel metal cutoff wheels so can't cut the last section out!

Re: My Caddy 'R' build thread
You need to get some coilovers on as everything looks a million times better when the van is nearer the floor.
I have a complete Caddy Cross bodykit on order. It looks a bit rubbish on the standard van but I am 100% sure it will work on mine.

I've got the Caddy Cross wheel arches on order and fingers crossed they are only a few days away!
KW are building a kit as we speak and should be getting fitted towards the end of next week.

Very nice, I always wanted to do that but never got around to it.
Looks well and serves a valuable purpose also.

That's quite some impressive skills you have there, it's going to be stunning when it's finished.

Re: My Caddy 'R' build thread
Ifcrik - The original bumpers are from a 2011> Caddy and a 2011> Golf MK6 R, both from Ebay.
Thanks to Banditbarron I removed the B pillars to wrap them in 1080 carbon. I think the plan will be to get these done in the real stuff in the future - the vinyl looks ok but its never going to look as good as real carbon.
FYI, the B pillars are simple to remove - put the window down, pull the rubber window seal out from the bit near the B pillar to expose 2 Phillips screws. Undo these and then just wiggle it free from the rubber seal.
