I will be installing my Kenwood DNX520 unit tomorrow.
Does anybody know where would VW install GPS aerial with factory fitted navigation?

My kenwood had a magnetic aerial for the GPS. Behind the glovebox compartment is a metal brace for the dash. Mine is fixed to that and gets brilliant satellite signal.

Yes I just stuck mine to the underside of the dash, has worked perfectly for over a year

I just popped out the dash bin and stuck it to one side. Doddle to drop the wire down to the back of the h.u. to.

I would prefer to have it outside of the vehicle as more satellites will be visible.
Passenger side door mirror fitting requires a lot of dismantling. Would any one
have a download link to full workshop manual with detailed stripping?
