Hello.
Over the past few weeks my 2006 TDI caddy has acquired a rattle from the back when going over bumps or a rough surface..
I had the shocks replaced this evening but the rattle is still present. So I started looking about and banging here and there around the rear of the van. When i kick the wheel with the handbrake off I can replicate the sound. So i removed the wheel and the caliper is loose. when i apply the brakes everything goes solid.
Any idea on the fix to get this sorted?
Here is a link to me kicking the wheel.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Have you checked the hanger bolts? And caliper pins?
Are the anti rattle springs in place? Then finally check its not the disc moving. Screw in disc face tight?

Re: Rattly rear callipars
The disc is rock solid. with all the bolts tight there is still movement in the calipers. Here is another link to where the movement is coming from.
