I've run a few head units past few years and I'm putting my faith in pioneer. Not the flashiest looking or cheapest but in my opinion best sound going :-)

Couple of good units

Alpine CDE-175bt Parrot Bluetooth

Pioneer DEH-X5500BT Parrot Bluetooth

Work well, have a separate microphone for Bluetooth, fit loads of them.

The Sony unit can pick up interference when a iPhone is in the tray.
Caddy 4 150 DSG Viper Green, AirLift Performance, Alltrack Body Kit, 19" SPF Rotiforms & 20" Vossen CVT, 5 seat conversion, full interior re-trim in Napa & Alcantara with green stitching and a sprinkling of Custom Car Audio.

Thanks for the replies. Won't have that problem with the Sony since I have an S4. Any experience on the two units you suggested or would I be better off with a double din unit
