Just a small update on what's happening at the moment.

Have the interior monitoring installed, just waiting for the sensor for the headliner to arrive. Had to change the headliner for this, cut a hole for the switch in the drivers side B-pillar (it's marked on the inside :-)) or just spend €60 for new one with the hole... :-/
Run few wires to BCM and one to fuse box.

W8 light installed- pure pain in da hole job!
The light unit doesnt fit straight in, some of the plastic needs to be removed from the shelf unit in order for it to pop in. Also the light doesn't stay secure very well as there is nothing it can lock on to to stay up.

Fitted first Tiguan R-Line seat... Those bad boys fit perfectly on Touran bases into the Caddy. No need to cut or drill anything. The seat is bit higher but I actuall love it!
Had to change airbag module as mine didn't support seat belt warning + side airbags. This job involved changing airbag module, fitting side crash sensors + wiring for those and seat belt buckle and also prewired the seats for rear footwell illumination for sake of seeing in the footwell behind/under the seats. Passenger seat will have to wait a while as I need to get heater elements for them and replace few trims on it etc.

Fitted MDI into my Touran armrest console.

Fitted front Audi LED footwell lights.

Will post few pics shortly...

:D

Is the Motexion solid bulkhead with window stock on -10 Caddys?
I would really want on in my -09, especially when you get comfort-zone behind both seats!
Audi A4 Avant Quattro 2.0TDI -08
Volkswagen Caddy 1.9TDI -09
Volvo "4-rotor" 142 -73

I actually only saw handful of them on the road so far too, I guess non metallic white must be the best seller in those type paints...

Here is couple of pics of the footwell lights. The ones I used are not very bright, they just give the footwells nice gentle glow.
Part numbers for those are 8U0 947 415 There is few different OEM LED units available in various strengths.

The only decent picture of them in action at night I could only get with my phone :(

As you can see the lens is cloudy compare to other clear ones.

Unfortuantely my camera skills cannot catch the proper glow they produce :(
They do light up whole footwell.

Cheers for the reply much appreciated. How did you wire them and do they need activatingwith vcds? Must look a little more into what lights are out there to fit. Where the units new and if you dont mind me asking were they expensive? Cheers. T

The headliner is 2K0 867 501 AL 33C
The monitoring sensor is 2K5 951 172
Switch 2K0 962 109 A REH (Caddy from 2011>>>) Pre facelift Caddys use 1T0 962 109 A switch as they seems to have the incline sensor too. FL Caddys don't for some reason.
