The lower suspension should be 27mm compare to standard according to VW. I'm waiting a week for bastards getting me a price for it here...

I did have a quick look under it, I don't no how they lower the back as axle is still standard. Maybe they just lower front by 27mm with springs..

How much is it in UK lads? I'm guessing here but I reckon it will be around €250 here. They promised to have it priced for me today...like yesterday and on Friday...

Edit just got the price for it here and it's €348!!!. Is it worth getting or better to go for something else afterwards?

Re: New Caddy 4 just landed
Jaysus that's some price difference! I'm not gonna mention how much other options here are.
I'll defo leave it out at this price as I would go bananas if I don't see much difference

Yes I was going to say it must be about 20mm lower than standard, when I saw it I thought to myself, that doesn't look very low.

I'm going to go back to dealership and measure it up against a standard one, to see if there is a difference.
Trying to get a deal on Eibach, but salesman seems to be ignoring my emails. Nice

A Standard one , will look high.
With the lowered factory fitted option, the ride is still a bit bouncy.
Depends what your driving style is.

Re: New Caddy 4 just landed
Old van before Eibach standard 16" wheels
After with 18" wheels
Nice right height and practical for speed humps.
VW have just informed me that Eibach kit on back order for 3 weeks, gutted will have to wait.

Hey what's wrong with flooring it away from the lights ? That's not a driving style, that's a way of life for me

You've got to have some fun in life, I certainly do at moment in my 140 and was hoping to in 150 hence ordering it.
I think I'm going to be another unhappy VW customer, will have to start a club

Re: New Caddy 4 just landed
Don't worry, in about 6 months the tuner will Crack the ECU and they will be able to reprogram it for `FUN MODE` and to sort out the terrible DSG gear changes the van makes at the moment, doesn't the ECU understand that just after peak Torque is the best time to change gear to accelerate hard, not dipping into the red line where the power drops off to nothing There is so much that can be done to make these 150 DSGs the best driving experience (in a van).
