If your doing it yourself it’s quite a effort, take it off. Then you have to sand it down then I would recommend plastic primer rub it down the there is such thing called a filler primer comes out thicker. Use that it will fill in all the crease, then hand sand as your feel any lumps and bumps if you find any sand until smooth. Then paint. Otherwise for around 300 a paint shop will do all that for you.

Wow caddyluv, that is a mint job you have done there. Love it.
Unfortunately I can’t do this myself, never done spraying or prep so don’t fancy learning on this really.
Thanks for estimate, seems about right.
I just want to find someone who can do it well in the Manchester area

Don’t know anyone sorry. Try checkatrade or maybe ask your local mechanic who you trust and use. They will know someone, go look at there work, if the painter wants your business and they have some finished stuff I’m sure they will show you round.

Ted also I’m in the south in Kent so things do tend to be a little more expensive down her so we can afford our expensive beer

Tameside van centre in Ashton under Lyne prep caddys. Bought my ex bg van from there with colour coded bumpers. Maybe their paint guy can do it?

As for the expensive ale, you need to move up north, they have pound pubs now

I got a primered bumper from Euro carparts they have a big sale on just now so can probably get it around £120 saves a lot of work
