Toffee delights
Cheers mate. Wheels are just like bikes and everything else Pete, N+1 it the perfect quantity. But I’ve currently got 4 sets, which is 3 sets more than I need according to the wife.
I haven’t had any real reliability issues with them considering the conditions they are exposed to, and the ease of charging them is great.

Wheels look unreal.
I was under the impression that Mercedes wheels didn't fit because the lug holes were smaller?

Yes, you’re right. I have too many examples of quite a few things. Gets expensive sometimes!
Good to hear you’ve not had too many issues mate, least you can do the work yourself

Re: Toffee delights
Rubbish weather at the minute so not ideal for working on the van, but today is a good day as the van is back at 100%.
Got the drivers side strut removed a couple of days ago, and checked for leaks. It turned out that an O-ring in the top sandwich plate was causing the main leak (in addition to the lower sandwich plate), so replaced that (thanks to Plush for getting one to me within 24hrs).
Had to drill out a number of screws that were seized/rounded off, so replaced them all. Also fit a new genuine strut top mount and all the removed fixings whilst it was in bits.
Blowing bubbles
All fixed
In work

I follow you on Instagram, the Merc wheels are by far my favourite. You've done a cracking job on the van, it's definitely an inspiration to many.

Thanks for the comments all.
The dashboard swap is a relatively easy job to do, as long as you have all the correct pieces required.

Toffee delights
Another day, another air leak! This time it was the passenger side front leader hose bulkhead. I suspect the hose insert damaged the o-ring when removing it recently to replace the hose and elbow, and then the recent cold weather finished the job.
I don’t think it’s too bad, having just shy of 3 years of year round daily use and it’s only required 2 check valves, 1 strut rebuild and a couple of fittings. Saying that, hopefully there won’t be any more leaks for a while.

Yeah I will be mate, I’ve got all the bits sat ready. I’m just waiting for some free time and the weather to improve/align, as it’s not great working outside at the minute.
