Re: My 1.9tdi Caddy (cheap project)
I would say yes. But I don’t have rear seats so I needed to trim the back of it up a little so it could fit snug with the rear floor.
Very easy to do. I was very nearly put off fitting it due to having to cut it but it’s so simple.
I would give a step by step guide however the idea of the forum is to be interactive - otherwise everyone is dishing free info out. If you get your post count above 6 you’ll be able to access how to guides. But, of course, don’t post any old rubbish to get your count up.
100% recommend the Touran centre console. You’ll wonder why you didn’t fit one sooner!

Picked the van up from the painters today. Really pleased, needs a good wash. Very happy

Good effort here. Just picked up an 05 plate and looking to do a lot of similar mods to you.
What's your opinion on seats and driving height? Do you find the Sciroccos too low or not?

Thanks mate, they’re so comfy. 100% worth it.
They will sit too low on caddy bases so I decided to fit touran bases so they sit slightly higher

Re: My 1.9tdi Caddy (cheap project)
Passenger door deadlocked inside and out.
Quickly found the problem. Not enough slack on the outside handles. Reseated the cable end and she opens!!
Now to fit the side door handle

That’ll do until I save my pennies up for a side rail cover.

Re: My 1.9tdi Caddy (cheap project)
Started spraying the plastic fixings on the sunvisors in preparation for leather trimming. Using some Halfords jobby stuff so if it peels off I’ll just keep some sharpies or crayons in the van to keep it black lol

Made a start splitting the Touran door cards. Having these retrimmed in leather with white stitch to match the seats
