I then went on to find some heated Touran leathers down my scrappy for £80. Couldn’t resist

The same Touran which had the leathers in was sitting on 17” Alloys so I pinched them as well. Wrapped them in tyres all for £120.

Nice! Did you take the doorpanels and arm rest too?

No, Unfortunately not, Armrest was ruined and I didn’t think about the door cards at the time

Carpet is pretty much done in the back. Got a pull out bed from Argos which fits perfect.

The gear knob and gator had seen better days...
So I got this cheap eBay GTI knob but it looked way too tacky. I ended up getting a gator from VanCreations and modding it onto a caddy gear knob
- Oh and No cutting the van to stop you from punching the dash either.
Took quite a few swear word but happy with how it looks.

So the idea for the van is to carry my bikes about, occasional camper.
This is how the rear turned out....

My 1.9tdi Caddy (cheap project)
This thread is pretty much up to date now. There’s a few little things I’ve forgotten to post and will eventually get round to posting them on here.
It’s started to become a slow burning project and I aim to keep it for a while now
So plans for next year:
Touran front end,
Colour code,
Lowering,
Touran carpets in the cab, centre console, lekky windows
Flat bottom wheel ect.... I have a huge list
This is also my second car.... I have just turned 19!
