Looking good mate! love the budget buys, it's what we are doing on my sons Caddy and wish we had kept similar progress pictures like you have!

You really are inspirational @Lamby00 - saw the heading (glad you didn't change it!) and read the whole thread all the way through. I totally know how the enthusiasm can capture you on a 'small' project and lead you on to bigger, better and more expensive things, and I too plan to start out cheap ... ! Your Caddy's a beauty and you'll remember every inch of that vehicle for the rest of your life - hope you get many miles and many, many good times out in it. My ex is in his 60s now and still talks about the first one he did up properly at your age. Well done you, and I'll look forward to keeping an eye open to see it when you have those other bits and bobs on it.

Found spots of oil in the coolant nothing in the head so swapped the oil cooler for a new one. Fingers crossed all is ok

Really like this build. It provides loads of inspiration for what I should do next. The leather interior of course. I see correctly it pretty much completes your original list so what do you plan next?
Great Caddy you got there.

Looking rather sorry for itself at the moment, hasn’t been washed since July.
Got another years MOT today, no issues

Still looking great mate! Winter is like that.
In my view MaxiDOT cluster makes a world of difference. Shows onboard computer, BT conneciton, Playing audio and turn by turn navigation at least with the correct head unit.

Thank you all. Been running spot on since I swapped the oil cooler.
The van has been earning its keep the last 6 months. Lots of mileage and work runs.
