Caddy touran bases what’s the difference then

Hi just purchased some a4 b7 seats and touran bases, what’s the difference I take it they’re higher thank man caddy bases ?

The rear thread holes are in a different location (further back).
The original Caddy bases will only straight fit Caddy, Polo, Ibiza, A1 seats.
The Touran bases will fit all the mk5/6/7 etc golf chassis seats.. Golf, Leon, A3, Tiguan.. etc etc

Thanks ye fitted them now was going to use caddy bases sell touran but they didn’t fit

I've just taken delivery of some Touran seats and bases, is it a simple fit now?
Just take out the Caddy seats and bases and then whack the Touran ones straight in?
Looking at the difference in height in that picture, I presume that the car seats are lower in the base than the original Caddy seats therefore balancing out the height difference of the bases? Just wondering if thats the case or I need to cut a hole in the roof to see out of...?
