Waow, the attention to details is stunning in your build !
May I ask you a rough idea of how much all the carpet/trim costs ?

Some amazing work being carried out here bud!! I especially love the rear doors

Q regarding rear lights, when switching pins around did you follow the same for both sides or was they different?

Yeah the carpet I got from eBay, link here. Was 42 quid for 10 meters plus glue. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/254386016132

Yeah I followed doc’s guide, think he wrote In the comments about just doing the RH rear procedure on the LH if it’s A LH light. Worked a dream for me.

Been working on the mk7.5 gti front bumper, will post a few pics of the progress.

Ok so started work on the normal hybrid bumper. A mk7.5 gti one.
Don’t really know why coz i think I will go for a mk8 gti one in the coming months.

Started off with a pattern part bumper. Insurance approved and a mk7.5 bumper that was damaged in areas not important.

First thing to cut was the basic shape.

Then mocked up on the van

Cut down the correct size on the van

Panel bonded together using some cowboy wood screws while it dried.

Sanding and chamfered all the edges

Plastic welded up all the parking sensor holes, all my cowboy screw holes after they were removed.

Sanding with some 80 grit to give the filler a good key, cleaned with panel wipe, first skim of filler.

All in for about 2 hours work so far, all the time is now in blocking. More blocking and more blocking and more blocking.

I probably made a few errors on my cuts on the bottom for the splitter, however I think I can salvage it.

More work on the lower section of the bumper. Few cuts and welds. Not sure if I made some mistakes on my first cuts but it’s now sitting how I want it.

Also door card back from krossstitch so spent 2 hours plastic welding them back together.

Still need a touran armrest and a lot of retrimming to do.

Seats on mk5 gti seats on touran bases sitting wayyy to high. Feel like I’m sat in the roof going to down the road so will be making something to correct that.

Time to play around with the Passat W8 light and rear lights. Fit the side rail covers unpainted as decided to leave the van looking rough and send it for a paint once everything is done.

The RCD330 from eBay. What absolute dream of a headunit.
Looks oem. Everything seems to work. really simple plug and play. £200 too. Bargin. Seller I used was the same as mentioned on another post I found ‘eodaworld’. Literally can’t recommend enough.

You have to be carefull what to order as he explains in detail. Best checking that out.

I ordered
2k2.945.095.Q
2k1.945.096.AE

RRP is 63.76 each. I got a nice 28% discount on them due to working for VW group directly.

Useful info! But I'm still looking for information or possible to put the rear trunk with cut corners from 2016 Caddy model
