Long time ago, back in the mists of time !
It is all in the tread. Basically the middle knob is a little bar steward. Push from the back if I remember (but I don't really) ?
The complete disassembly method is easier in many ways but has it's own pitfalls with alignment and is more time consuming.

Okey doke, cheers.
I’ll apply more pressure!
You wouldn’t have a drawing showing which pins/test points are for knob illumination (LEDs)?

No circuit diagrams for the PCB.
You can see the LEDs easily enough though ...

Re: Heater control button removal ???
Yah I can see the LEDs, just wanted to bench test the new ones before I put it all back together. I’ll just bell out the cable that’s live when I turn the lights on.
So I managed to get the middle knob off by prying the legend plate off and the knob just popped off.
I maybe loosened it with a combination of pulling like F*** and using a terminal driver and hammer that to tap the rear of what I thought was the knob. Turns out that’s a a hollow shaft that sits behind the PCB, so hitting that wasn't the way
Did you replace the 90Deg SMD LEDs too?
Cheers for the help so far!

@Papa Bear did the LED changes on his panel (and everywhere else) so would be the source for info, but not been around for a while ... !

Yeah I saw. Sounds like he’s been busy lately.
Looks like the 90 deg SMD ones are also red, so will need swapping out.
