Almost ready to start, just waiting on the ECU coming back from the reprogrammer, should have an eta today. All ready to go by tmr as I’m waiting to collect new bolts for the rear suspension from VW Commercial
Starting to wake up through the night with excitement!
Hoping to have it up and running before Christmas

Re: Caddy 3.2 v6 conversion
Full stripped out the Audi wiring loom for any sensors needed etc, overkill probably haha

That’s a full Audi wiring loom stretched out. Wow it was massive

Re: Caddy 3.2 v6 conversion
Now it’s the caddy’s turn. Same procedure, front end removed drive shafts unbolted and engine removed.

Re: Caddy 3.2 v6 conversion
At this stage I prepared the engine for install.
Luckily this engine has had a new timing chain kit installed at an Audi main dealership 20k ago with receipts for an eye watering amount.
Duel mass flywheel inspected and well within tolerance so I installed a new clutch for good measure.
I also removed and blanked the the secondary air system at this stage.

Re: Caddy 3.2 v6 conversion
Audi subframe wishbones hubs steering rack etc we’re bolted up to the caddy at This stage. I also fitted an updated dog bone mount and whiteline anti lift kit to help with wheel hop as I’ll be running front wheel drive.
