Ex British Gas caddy
So I originally did a thread on the van then lost my phone and passwords so had to make a new account
So brought the van about 3 years ago and didn’t really want to do anything with it just use it for fishing
Then I joined 2k and the bug started
After searching around I brought a set of stance plus coil overs as they were the only ones in my budget at the time.I had heard a lot of bad reviews about them but in all honesty they have been nothing but a pleaser I haven’t had an issue.
Then I brought some 18” lambo rep wheels of a friend to get rid of the steels and sort of left it there for a year
Then I had a arb bend on me so I though why not and brought front and rear whiteline ones and fully poly bushed the van
A friend of mine was selling a touran bumper so I jumper at that I’d never smoothed or painted any sort of body panel so I though I’d give it a go and to be fair I think it came out ok
Then can the opportunity to get some touran parts so I had seats carpet and most of the dash and trim bits
Then I had a chat with emp about doing my exhaust so I bit the bullet on the r32 bumper skin and fitted that up then emp did an awesome job on the exhaust and it made a massive different to the quite 2.0sdi
Then as a birthday’s present I got the whole rear carpeted and a glass roof and leds installed
Then I had the chance to get some bbs wheels VERY cheap only problem I had was the rear wheels were 9.5j and I was told there’s no way there fitting in the arch and the rear door opening
But much to my surprise they fitted in no issues at all
Then I brought a baf motorsports rear k brace (to be fair it was more for looks than anything else)
And that’s how it sits
Hopefully after Christmas I’ll be pulling the trigger on air ride then the tfsi or 1.8t I’ve not made my mind up yet
Probably a massive pain to read but that’s everything I’ve done so far 90% of the inspiration on the van has come from here

Re: Ex British Gas caddy
Could anyone help me with this
I’ve been looking at big brake kits and I like the look of the Porsche cayenne ones
My question is do they bolt straight on or do I need adapter and stuff
I no I’ll need discs and pads
Or is there another bolt on option
Oh I have 55mm hubs I’ve triple checked them with three different methods
The easier the better as my passenger has seized up and need to get it done so I can drive it again
Don’t really want to go standard if I have the opportunity to go bigger
Cheers guys
