Very nice. I've been looking at seat upgrades and am leaning toward the mk7 golf R's. I like those wheels too

Another cheaper small mod, but makes everything seem nicer Image genuine Mk 6 golf pedals. £43 from eBay didn’t think was too bad, very happy with them ImageImage

What suspension did you use for lowering the van & how much is it dropped? Looks like it's still a pretty useful height but looks a lot better!

Apologies for late response. I had it taken up a notch but only the cheap stance+ as that’s all I could afford. I was sceptical, it’s ok but something I definitely want to upgrade once funds allow! I drive around 350/400 miles p/month for work and it’s useful for that.

@gmancan1 again sorry for delay. Not been on the forum in some time. I just typed in caddy footrest. On EBay, or golf R footrest. Believe the Skoda yeti one fits also

Doorcards make a huge difference, can't wait to get rid of the horrible grey ones in mine and upgrading to electric windows

Well after not posting in forever here I am. Sadly with no mods to post about. The cursed van has been testing my patience and bank balance. After losing power for a while and despite numerous trips to the garage, no fault could be diagnosed. Having already replaced the turbo 2 months into my ownership back in mid 2022, I was then told the engine needed replacing at the cost of an engine and £1000 labour :( . Cue a long six weeks without the van after picking an engine up, turns out it was a misdiagnosis (avoids this garage for future work  ). I have since replaced the turbo, throttle body and EGR valve. MOT had expired during the vans time off road and guess what; MOT failure on a rusted sill. After all this it now owes me £1190 for these two repairs, thus finding itself for sale! Seems a shame to let it go after making great headway into my build but needs must, and I need to pay for a TFSI van I have bought, which has broken after 4 days

Roll on some good luck in the near distant future hopefully!!

A full breakdown of repairs in 20 months ownership:
Radiator: £200
1st Turbo: £400
Electrics: £250
Vacuum Hose: £65
DSG Service: £360
Turbo, EGR, Throttle and Spare Engine: £790
Cill Replacement: £400
Ball joints, Top Mounts and Drop links £200

£2665 for a £3100 van :? Hopefully it goes through the MOT Friday and someone here or marketplace will pick themselves up a good working van!!
