Think the rack will go as I don’t need what it offers.

The vent needs to go/change as do two ariels.
Not sure of the shiny stuff though.

Will do the glass on the sliders and maybe fake glass on the rear panels.
Not sure if the rear glass is just over steel or not.

One of the first things to add will be a tow bar.

Last build was a T4 that did me well but finally had head gasket failure in Germany and the MOT ran out so I went to be recycled.




The Mini cleaned up ok after a wipe down in the rain.

It then had a full going over and had lots of upgrades done.

Then one day the life in Germany ended and it was time to head back to the UK.


So now it’s time to get the new service van sorted. Have some saved goodies from the T4 that will be put to use.

All out. Needs a scrub but it will be going back in along with some OE tie downs for now.

Will pull it and clean out under tomorrow as well.

Oh why did VW keep the spare wheel carrier the same. One bolt sheered off all to release an unusable tyre on a just about rusted out rim.

On a plus side the load area is cleaner. Still no radio reception.

What head unit is this?

And what is this above the socket.

Radio model info found. And passenger airbag lamp blanking plate understood.

Right onto sorting some things. I would have liked to have liked to have got the Loklogik deadlock working as I have the key.

Then I pulled everything of the shelves that I had been storing from the T4 still need to find the VSR and get the TV out of the shed.



Pulled the OE panels off and found a reversing sensor box.

As I found some after market speakers in the doors I thought I would pull the tweeter covers.


Might have to do something about that.

Unless you have a total replacement one I am good as this is corroded to hell and the pin retention plate is gone.

When I get pm access will pass on location info.

I've probably got a new one on the van, if not I can get them next day delivery.
I dont need a house address just interested which town.
