MK4 Cherry Red Project

Hi all, thought I would start a build thread for my new (to me) MK4 Caddy.

Took me a while to find a van that ticked boxes as I wanted Cherry Red with tailgate, ended up finding a Trendline a few weeks ago and bought it on the spot. Spec wise it does not seem to have any options fitted from the factory spec, it does have caddy life mirrors from factory which was a bonus.

I have a lot planned for this project and have started to accumulate some of the parts, hopefully I will have full access to the forum soon so I can get information and ideas, I used to be on here many years ago but have forgotten my old user name!

Adding photos is not dependent on access level
I have a real ball ache attaching pic bc u have to use a 3rd party software like photo bucket or Tapatalk both of which annoy the shiz out of me for some reason

Below where u click submit, u can see an attachment tab
U can click on that direct from your phone but the file size has to be below 2MB

Can try that

Just a note, once u hit your 6 n 30 posts go to the page n COPY the wording n ask for access permission
Doc usually approves it {I believe} and he is a busy man so it's not instant, just me patient is all I can say
Once the forum access opens up there is so much reading n admiration for what others have done

Cheers, yes it does seem to be a rare colour and it was even harder to find one with a tailgate.
