@be4n13
Looks nice and a great solution
But to be honest, I can't see much difference to the normal lanyard solution
Or am I missing something ?

Re: Maxi - Not a Show Van
Thanks both! I'm sure there's a similar solution for opening a tailgate in this if you've not got an interior handle.
There is no difference other than I think it's neater not having anything coming over the top of the door panel, and it wasn't an actual lanyard I used. You could certainly do the same with a lanyard and a slot in the panel

Re: Maxi - Not a Show Van
Been practicing my CAD (Cardboard Aided Design) by fitting some new mudflaps! These are Rallyflapz universal mud flaps cut to shape. Made them stick out a little more and go up the arch further but with similar width and height from the ground. Only got the fronts fitted today before it started raining so will get the rears done soon

Re: Maxi - Not a Show Van
In between rain got my rear mudflaps fitted. A little bit longer on the rear to help keep it clean

Re: Maxi - Not a Show Van
Been putting the small barn door card off since I did the large one as I was still unsure about the finish but bit the bullet today and installed the small panel in suede with a matching cargo net, also covered in suede

Re: Maxi - Not a Show Van
Nope, it's just screwed into the ply and only holds gloves and a hat amongst other small stuff. As for those lights... I have no idea whatsoeverGmancan1 wrote:Thats cool gonna reinforce to the door to hold heavy stuff or just for like

Re: Maxi - Not a Show Van
CAD hahaaaa love ya work
I did the same for templates, CAD is cheap as chips and you can add n subtract easy !!
The mud flaps look good
Probably have a little flex in them to absorb larger debris which should give extra longevity
You've done a nice job
The finish on the barn doors looks good
Show us some pics of the installed finish product

Re: Maxi - Not a Show Van
Cheers Stu! I hope the flaps will take a beating and won't snap like the oem ones did, they'd been held together with zip ties for a couple years Went out and threw the door panel on last night, fits like a glove and matches nicely

Re: Maxi - Not a Show Van
I didn't have any plans to do anything on the van today but still managed to cover more things with suede! I've wrapped the strips up the bottom of the A pillars, the bottom half of the glovebox to follow the suede from the gear stick surround, and the light switch panel to hide the scratches of the previous owners old habits of jabbing the key into anywhere that wasn't the right place

Re: Maxi - Not a Show Van
The only dirt I've got on it was on the base of the seat, slight scuff of mud that once dried brushed right off
