I have a 2016 150 hp engine that has blown a set of rings ( I think) there is a lot of exhaust gasses blowing out of the oil filler cap and the dipstick.
It was running fine up untill it spluttered to a halt with a bit of smoke out of the exhaust, managed to re-sart to get it back home. It would not start without removing the oil filler cap to relaese the pressure.
We thought it may have been the DPF or CAT but these have been cleaned proffesionally and its still doing it. any reccommendations please.
