Yes it does & it’s a nice upgrade over the original.

I will try & find the part numbers for the arm & blade.

I have ordered one from Amazon (non genuine) so hopefully that will fit, was a cheap one anyway so we will see :)

There is a thread about it on here somewhere but these are the part numbers

T5 aero arm - 7H0-955-707
T5 cap - 6Q6-955-435-D
Wiper blade (Caddy tailgate 400mm) - 7E0-955-425

It’s a great little mod if you’re not doing a wiper delete

Stick a pic up when you’ve done it, I’m interested in what it looks like, might do it to mine if it looks good Image

At the risk of asking a stupid question, what are the benefits of fitting a T5 rear wiper arm on a Caddy? I stumbled upon this thread via Google but haven't seen an example of this being done. The rear wiper arm on my Caddy is looking a bit worse for wear, so I'm paying more attention to rear wipers than I ordinarily would.

I have no interest in doing a rear wiper delete, but would like to know more about this T5 wiper arm modification in case it's some kind of improvement over the standard Caddy unit.

In my opinion the T5 Wiper Arm looks more modern then the Caddy and it's now out of the rear view mirror.

On a RHD vehicle, it wipes the passenger side only, which is as much use as a chocolate ashtray on a motorbike.

Delete it instead of wasting money on a better arm. Unless you have a LHD. Cos VW couldn't be bothered to move it to the drivers side on the RHD vans.

I get what you mean. On many RHD vans the rear wiper does end up clearing mostly the passenger side, which can feel pretty pointless when the driver’s visibility isn’t really improving. It’s a bit frustrating that the design wasn’t adapted properly for RHD models.

That said, some people still find it helpful in heavy rain or when reversing in bad weather, but if it’s not giving you any real benefit, I can understand why removing it might seem like the simpler option rather than spending money on upgrading the arm.

Yeah, true.

Personally I have a solid bulkhead and internally wrapped rear door glass, so I have cameras at the back linked by radio signal to a mirror with an LCD monitor inside it, and I had no need of a wiper anyway. The wiper bung has the rearward looking camera and the door pull trim has a downward looking camera for reversing.
